Spalding Elementary PTO is comprised of parents and teachers working together to help ensure our children and their families get the best possible learning in a collaborative environment. If you want to get information, voice an opinion or ask a question, volunteer, get involved or fund raise, the PTO is the place to start.

The PTO funds and executes programs to enrich and support the quality of the school experience for all students and teachers at Spalding Drive. This is accomplished through an extensive volunteer network and the PTO's annual budget which is comprised of membership dues, fundraising activities, and corporate partnerships.

By joining our PTO, you become a part of the fabric that makes our school strong. We could not do what we do without parent and teacher membership and support. Please join today!

Each year your Spalding Drive Elementary PTO:

Provides over $9,000 in Classroom Grants to all homeroom and specialty teachers for classroom supplies
Awards nearly $10,000 in Mini-Grant Funds for specific curriculum-based requests from teachers
Funds multiple outdoor projects to beautify our school grounds
Conducts staff appreciation events throughout the school year
Promotes school unity through signature events such as the Book Fair, Donuts with Grown-ups, Muffins with Munchkins, Back to School Night, Fall Festival, Tiger Trot and more
Supports school-wide communications with weekly e-blasts, social media, and Room Parents
Provides assistance to Spalding families and staff members affected by emergencies

If I join, do I have to?

Go to meetings?
No. You are welcome and encouraged to attend our general meetings though. They are held three times per year.
Volunteer or spend a lot of time at school?
Nope! Joining the PTO is not the same as volunteering. If you choose to volunteer we would LOVE the help—but volunteering is not required. If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, please email the PTO at spaldingelempto@gmail.com to find a role that will best suit you.
